We are pleased to introduce our first-grade, highest-quality second-flush Assam. This has a beautiful aroma and looks really enticing with its reddish-brown leaves and distinct orange tips of young, unopened leaf buds.
Aroma: Malty, floral, earthy
Tasting Notes: Intense Malt, stewed fruit, brisk and smooth.
Delicious on its own but also excellent with milk. Unlike standard Assam breakfast tea, our tea offers a balanced cup with layers of flavour due to the grade of the leaf.
Food pairing suggestions: Chocolate, fruitcakes, full Scottish Breakfast, smoked meats, mature cheeses, ginger and warming spices.
