Our Story

The idea had been brewing for some time, but in 2025 it was formally established in the Calton area of Glasgow, home to the world-famous Barras Market; a melting pot of cultures, traditions, and old-meets-new energy.

We feel tea embodies this beautifully.

Humble, Yet Extraordinary

Every tea begins with the same humble plant: Camellia Sinensis. Yet, from this single plant comes an extraordinary world of flavours, aromas, cultures and traditions.

Treated with care, respect and exceptional craftsmanship, tea has a story that stretches back at least 5,000 years. Every cup reflects the terroir of its origin; the land, climate, culture and people who bring it to life.

This is the story and passion we want to share.

Beyond the standard tea bag, there is a whole world of tea waiting to be explored. Tea can be brewed in countless ways, each bringing out different characteristics and flavours. And just like wine, tea can be thoughtfully paired with food to create an entirely different experience.

The coffee industry has experienced an incredible boom, opening people's eyes to speciality beans, different origins, brewing methods and the craft behind every cup.

We believe it is now time for tea to shine just as brightly.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people discover tea in a whole new way:

• Elevate the tea offering in cafés, restaurants and hospitality venues.

• Showcase exceptional teas from around the world, celebrating their unique origins, flavours and craftsmanship.

• Create our own unique teahouse, offering an extensive selection of teas brewed using techniques and traditions from around the world, and creating a memorable experience for every customer.

• Use our business for good, creating positive impact through what we do, how we operate and the communities we work with.
